The call came in this morning about 9:00 - the answering machine turned on, there was a brief period of breathing then the caller hung up.

Whatever happened to solicitors being prohibited from calling cell phones?  Caller said I was eligible for million dollar sweepstakes.  Yeah, right.

Since when can a law stop criminal activity?  If laws actually prevented crime there would be no jails or need for criminal courts.  Since this caller was trying to scam you, why would they care about a law that prohibits telemarketers from calling cellphones?

One call after another is getting  very annoying.  I called the number and was told that they had no record of my phone and hung up.  I'm sorry that the phone number services charge so much to give out the information on who is calling my number.  I sure wish that DEX or Somebody in the phone book business would set up this service.

Caller said they had seen that i registered on some publishers website (which i did not) and then said i was entered into a drawing for a prize. Sounded 'ike a real person at first, but towards the end of the call, you could tell it was a recording.really some telemarketer trying tosolicit magazines
