Someone called from this unfamiliar number and acted "friendly" like he was an old friend or something. I said the connection was bad because I didn't want to admit I had no clue who this was...and he said "Okay, I'll call back". Never called back - good thing, I now find, having read this website regarding this number.
the caller pretended to be from Honeywell Home Security Systems and was offerering an upgrade. sounds like they have gone from nuisance scamming to phishing for information about what homes are unprotected so they can rob you.
