Called but I didn't pick it up as it was an unknown number. I let my call blocker take care of it with a message that my number had been disconnected. When that happens, I come over here to check if there are other reports. It looks like it's a new number that is just getting started or a morphed number from another telemarketer that has a different number. By now, I have had enough of these calls to assume that a brand new unknown number from a brand new city is a scam. And that is a safe assumption...probably 99+% of the time.

Robo call for some senior citizen scare/scam. You've been chosen to get some sort of "free" safety device because you are old and going to hurt yourself any minute, LOL
Oh, also it comes in on caller ID as a cell call. That seems to be the new trick they use.
FYI, another new trick these jerks use is spoofing a number with the same area code as you have so when you look at the caller ID you think it's a local number.
I received a call from this number on 8/1 at 7:20 PM. It came up as a "Local" call, however, it was out of my area code. I did not answer the call and will not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. They did not leave a voice mail, so it must be a solicitor. I have a Verizon land line, so I can block the number.
