A man with broken english contacted my mother from this phone number (626-239-3135) claiming my mom's computer was infected (or "infracted" as he said) and told her she needed to go to her computer immediately and download some software. He said his name was "Alek" and he represented the company "Log In For Speed." Mom didn't comply. June 8 2011.
Similar to the post above. Unfortunately my mom gave them her credit card info tonight to fix a problem on her computer. I called their toll free number (877-623-9180) to tell him to cancel her payment and she didn't need the service. He then said he would call back at my number but never did. Never called my mom back either
Similar to both postings, above. Phone number, 626-239-3135. A man with broken English (named Charles Green) phoned to say that computers in the entire area are infected with a virus that only he can fix. He told me to turn on my computer and await further instructions. I said, no thank you, and hung up.
