A call from this Alhambra landline arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is typical of robocallers (illegal telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls in a desperate search for gullible victims.
Based on this and other website, this number may be associated with a scam HVAC contractor, of whom there are many plying the phone lines. In fact, www.whitepages.com describes this number as the source of "suspected spam." Call it spam or scam, it's still flim-flam.
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
