Automated call came in from this company asking about a Google+ listing, or the person in charge of the Google listing. the message prompts the receiver to press 1 and answer questions regarding their Google + listing, then live person comes on the phone and pretends to look up business under category keywords. When questioned or challenged, they hang up the phone. When I tried calling back there is an option to be removed from the list, but there is no one to talk to. Be advised that this is an unsolicited call, and report any incidents when engaged by this phone number 1+(626)523-0103. Also, report to Google regarding false misrepresentation of their company.
I got a call from the number with a recording that it was verification call from google "please hold". Then a guy who told me his name was Jeremy Markuz got on and wanted to update my business's Google Maps position for Google Plus. Funny thing is I have a unused domain name with my contact info on it. Knowing Google does not call people I pushed him to tell me who he works for and he said himself but gets paid by Google. I kept questioning him on that so he finally hung up. Along the way in the conversation I asked to speak to a supervisor as I hear lots of noise in the background and he told he was calling from his deck in Newport Beach California.
