Called my mobile number and a computer voice said, "Hello. This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 626-497-0480. I repeat, 626-497-0480. Thank you."
They did not mention me by name. They mentioned no case file reference number.
I owe no taxes and have not previously been contacted by the IRS, so this is clearly a scam.
I will be reporting this to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration and suggest anyone receiving the same call do the same.

I just got the same message as Danny listed above. I know this is a scam as my parents got the same type of call last year - scared them to death as that person said that people were coming to their house "to get them". I do not owe any taxes at all and will be reporting to the above link.
