Similar call as some others. Claimed to be from US Justice Department. Returned call and all they wanted was my name and when I told them that they called me and should have that information. I refused to give them my name, they hung up. Indian accent
Received a call and *67 the number in west covina, ca. Indian accent answered. Couldn't make what was said. Asked what Dept? Said Treasury Dept. I daid wrong number.
Recording left on answering machine : man (Indian accent) identified himself as Alex Fergusen. 2nd notice from treasury dept. cooperate or appear before grand jury . . have to go to court.
On the caller ID, a different number shows for that time of call: 917 909 5620. Called back, the time of call, I show a phone number of 917 909 5620 (no routes found)
Man with Indian accent , said : This is the Dept. of Treasury, contact us for legal action ect. ect. ect.
I played along and told him go back to his country you are a scammer you piece of crap , he then said go %$#&% yourself, then he hung up.
