Just got a call from this number too. An aforementioned post stated that it was Nationwide Insurance. I went to their website and wrote an email conveying my opinions about blind calling, no call lists etc. Perhaps all of us who called should call them and waste their time. Daily. Here's their website where you can pick any one of a bevy of phone numbers to call and harass them for a change...
Just got the call on my mobile phone but did not answer it. If they call again I will have to block them through Verizon which allows you to block up to 5 numbers for six months for free.
Called my cell phone while I'm at work. I answered because I thought it was my doctor's office - their number is similar. It was an auto insurance company in Pasadena. My phone is registered with the do not call system. I'm not happy.
This was an insurance company. Thjey would not tell eme how they got my number. They said my name would be taken off the list but i would still like to know how they got my number.
