received a call from this number on a Do Not Call number. Her name was Janelle with the "Home Center." She said she is based in Culver City, CA. Said they are providing free estimates for anything related to the home. They want to talk to the homeowner only. I offered for them to design and install a water collection system with reverse osmosis drinking capabilities. Janelle, said that they absolutely can do that and transferred me to a manager -- who never came on. I cannot find any business or contractor named "home center". This is a scam.
I monitor responses to 800 Notes and have concluded there are groups of scam artists (many foreign) who use fake #s (spoofed on CID), and who frequently change those fake #s to avoid blocking services.
