Received a message from (626)790-0004 at 12:06pm on June 29, 2017. Message said, "Hi, this is Mary Ann Patterson. I'm following up on the notice sent you regarding the tax incentive information towards your GRU electric bill to discuss these credits. Reference #01014"
This sounds like a similar scam of "Rachel" leaving a message following up on a non-existence communication between us regarding some sort of credit approval. This is the latest thing. Get a woman who sounds professional and friendly to record these statements so people will call in and get scammed. Not happening. They always make it sound like they've had previous communication with you whether referencing a "notice" or a "letter" or a "conversation" you've already had with them. Don't fall for it.
Had a msg to call Mary Ann Patterson at 352-251-0184 with ref#01014 for rebate/tax credit. Called GRU and area utility and they do not have this person as an employee. Not a customer of GRU. ID showed from Sierra Madre CA 626-790-0004
SCAM. Here is the exact message: hi it's Mary Ann Patterson I'm following up on the notice regarding the information on the tax credit incentive towards your Florida power and light bill. If you could return my call at 7276010842 with your reference number of 01014 to discuss these credits. Thank you."
First: I live in Hillsborough county, city of Tampa. Our electric company is Tampa Electric. Florida power and light is a pinellas county company. I have never had a bill from them.
2nd: the number she called from is cali. The number she gave to call back is pinellas county.
3rd: I find it funny we all have the same reference number.
4th: I am so sick of getting spam calls. I average 3 spams a day. The day I signed up for the DNC list was the day I regret more than anything. Because that was the day I got all the calls. I currently have 59 blocked numbers on my phone. 59. Today it will be 60.
