Yes I received a phone call as they said I owed them 6k plus for debt of taxes not filed from 2011 to now. I admit I have not filed my taxes since 2014 but also never received my tax check from 2005 as I filed and was a Hurricane Katrina and Rita victim. I have for the last 12 years trying to get the irs to budge and as the office here in Lawton, Oklahoma gives me the runaround a lot and aren't so friendly. So what's next? I told them about all this and they fumbled to say they will check the files again and if they call me tomorrow then info was correct if not they made a mistake and will not call.
Claimed an IRS lawsuit and arrest warrant was issued for me. I know the IRS does not make initial contact via phone. They will sent written notification via the mail. This is a total scam. Make sure to ignore it.
just got the same call about arrest warrant - i did not pick up - a robot left a message with a request to call them back at same number. I will not be calling back as this appears to be a scam.
