The new readers would come from you current credit card processor. If these people are cold calling you, most likely they are crooks trying to con you into signing up for their services at an exorbitant rate.
Called and left a recorded message about the new credit card machines required for businesses. (The chip readers to help prevent identity theft). They said that there was no charge. The chip readers are real, but is this company a scam? Wouldn't the new chip readers come from the individual credit card companies? Does anyone here know for sure? Thanks.

It is 100% SCAM!!! Do NOT give them any personal info or your credit card number. This ROBO-CALL is trying to SCAM you into updating your credit card machine into the new readers.......you will receive a new machine from your current provider!!! Do not let these people SCAM you out of your money!!!
