The number earns its fame from a creepypasta that one may find by googling the number. If you actually call the number, you will be met with a recording of "Samantha's" voice quoting the story. I note again, a recording. I called, myself, and was quite confused briefly when it put the call through, and was amused when I heard the answer machine pick up. Doubt I'll be killed for the call though.
