Medical alert service robocall - and it's a robot on the other end so you can't even have the satisfaction of insulting the criminal that's calling you.
A guy called me, said I had registered online for a 1-million-dollar sweepstakes (which I don't recall), and then he wanted my name, address and account numbers in order to process my entry. HUH??? Sounds Phishy to me. When I asked him what kind of company is American Publishers, he said he did not have the answer to that question, but he would take my information and then turn me over to his supervisor for additional information and questions. Suuurrrrrre. I told him thanks, but no thanks and hung up.
