These are FRAUD calls, usually about car warranty. I have goggled and blocked every number I receive calls from and it doesn't help. I get between 3 & 10 calls a week. I have talked with Verizon Fraud dept. There is someone overseas hacking their 'inactive' phone numbers, using them as the Caller ID when the call is actually coming from overseas. Verizon is working with the FCC to try to pinpoint who is doing this but have had no luck to this point.
Person named Michael claimed I ignored a final notice on my car warranty and I needed to renew it immediately, was I interested? I said this is a scam and he hung up on me mid-sentence.
