Received a call at work from Danika at Merit Solutions (who was difficult to understand) asking for a number of employees who are no longer with the company. When I pushed her for more information regarding the nature of the call she finally explained that she wanted to talk with someone regarding our ERP System. I informed her that we are a R&D company and do not have a product on the market so we have no need for an ERP System. She then threw out another employees name that she wanted to speak with and I repeated that we do not have a need for ERP software. THEN she asked for the IT Department. Knowing that this was an obvious sales call I simply said that I would take a message and if there was an interest (which there is not), some one would get back to her.
