It kind of makes me miss Rachel from Cardholder Services (not!) These people are persistent. They've called in on at least 10 phone numbers over the course of a few months. I just keep on blocking them - and I file an FTC Do Not Call complaint each and every time they call even if the call shows up as blocked.
Another call with no one there. I just do not get it. I answer loudly and clearly, "Hello." And I all I hear is silence. I wait, and eventually the call disconnects. Who is spending money to call me, only to hang up on me without saying a word. I've had this same land-line phone number since 1978 (almost 40 years), and this has started recently. What it is all about?
Call came in on Land Line - caller showed name to be Unavailable. Recording said I requested a callback from an ad I saw on tv for a back brace. I did no such thing - and hung up. Blocked number.
