I received a call from a Katrina DeLeon at this company "Stoneleigh Recovery" today. Caller ID showed a local, Oklahoma City phone number, but this was the contact number which she gave. She was fishing for information about one of our clients for a medical bill, including asking me to verify his address and send a HIPAA authorization to her, both of which are illegal for me to do, so i refused. She then demanded payment from ME since I would not give her the information. I don't know who this piece of human garbage was trying to bully, but next time she wants to make false threats, she had better not make them to a law office or she and her company will be sued. Apparently these people smoke crack at work.. My advice to you is to block their number and never pay them a dime.
Left a message that they are a Debt Collector from Stoneleigh Recovery, but didn't disclose name nor who the message is for. The number shows it's from Lombard, IL and left in voicemail a different number to call back, which is 1-866-724-2330.
I have gotten two calls from these people about a debt from 2012 for which I have no recollection or record of having. They won't accept anything other than money which I won't give them. I am going to report them to my state's Attorney General office.
