Asset Recovery Associates- collection agency- left no message- called the number and trying to tell me that someone I might be related to (gave me name of individual) owes a debt from 30 years ago and that they would be suing them or might even have them arrested. I reported them to the Attorney General
Scam. Claiming I owe $3000+ on a Visa acct. I don't even own a Visa card. Claiming I could settle with him. Had no Acct#, date I opened such acct, or address. He was trying to verify my last 4 #s of Social Security, I declined to confirm this info and asked him what address he had for me. Would not provide ANY info so I advised him I could NOT pay him any $ for something I was disputing. The guy suddenly became furious and went off about seeing me in court. SCAMMERS!! Don't fall for it, ask questions, ask for their info. Do NOT give them anymore info about yourself either.
