I just got a call from them. I called them back on my landline and this is a scam. You don't call people to set up a time to receive so called "papers". Be careful with them.
I have gotten two different calls from them saying it was a courier service having papers for me. The first time they called my name was robotic, the second one my name was never said. Told me to call back if I wanted to reschedule, also said that on the first one!!!
I message was left on my phone that United courier had a delivery for between 1-2 and to have ID. I called the number back and someone guy answered Legal. I explained the call and he say they had to serve a summons on Eddie Bennett and I told them they had the wrong phone # because no lives here by that name.
Same experience! Robotic message saying that they have legal documents to deliver to me "tomorrow" between 12-2. To reschedule, press 1. So I did the first time. "Legal" answered and I talked to him. He had to put me on hold for my address - which I am sure he googled, then said it was from a pay day loan or check in 2012 or 2013. said that since I haven't been notified previously, and I should have, that he would be nice enough to try to "reduce" the amount I owed....
I asked for his number to call him back - the number is located in Texas.....
TOTAL SCAM!!!!
