I have been inundated with telephone calls from a clean energy company over the past week or so. They have called my home 7 times.
Sometimes it is a person calling. Sometimes it is a message tape that tells me to press "1" if I am a homeowner whose electrical bill is $150 or more a month. After a few calls, I pressed "1" to try to find a person to ask to take me off their list. But, the people just hang up if you ask questions or ask to speak to a manager.
I keep asking for them to take me off their list.
They will never give the name of the company. Some things the tape and them say are "clean energy company" and "renewable energy company". When I told a woman I was a homeowner who payed $150 or more, she asked for my zip code so she could transfer me to a company in my area.
Today, I received two calls in the same day.

This number has really stepped up the amount of calls made here. They attempt calls every 2-3 days here, and it always seems to be right on the hour. Today was 12:00pm, 1:59pm and then 7:00pm. They do not leave a message. Caller ID says they're located in Amityville, Long Island.
