I received this same threatening message, today (in Phoenix). It is the second day I have had a call from this number and today's message was more unkind than yesterday's call. The grammar use in the recorded message is improper, the first indicator that it is simply a nuisance, but I do not appreciate such ugly messages and calls on my phone.
Received a threatening call this morning; Thursday, May 25th, 2016 claiming that they are from The U S. TREASURY, and that this was the 2nd and last attempt to reach me as I have to appear before a Federal Judge; or else it would be considered criminal action. I will be working with the F.B.I. on this!
I allow my answering machine screen unknown callers. At 10:02 AM, 5/25/16 I got a call. The message said "....to know your case # end. To speak to a federal agent call back on 631-238-3505. I repeat, 6311-238-3505. Thank you." I didn't call back.
My message says this...
"You to return this call as soon as possible. There is a lawsuit which is going to file in federal claim court house within a couple of hours and the local County Sheriff are going to arrest you for five criminal allegations. So before this matter goes to court house and you get arrested. Kindly get back to us at 631-238-3505. I repeat 631-238-3505. Now if you don't return the call then the only thing I can do is wish you good luck."
Not calling back. I have never been in trouble with the law my entire life. I am in healthcare and have federal background checks yearly....ridiculous scammers!!!!
I'm in Northern Arizona. Got this call today Wednesday May 25, 2016. Extremely hateful recorded message. They never said who they were. They threatened indictments and federal prosecution. This was the final warning. Never heard from them before. BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!!!! I'm concerned for vulnerable seniors,etc!!
