I received a call from Empire radio now about an 8 minute interview. Gentleman said they are not selling anything and want to schedule a phone interview. I was transferred over to scheduling and was not able to agree on a day . Glad I checked here...guess nothing good is free!
"Empire Radio" scam. They try to get you to do an interview (free, they say, as if anyone legitimate would ever pay to be interviewed) and then hook you for longer spots. They begin the call with "this is not a sales call" which is the quickest way to identify a sales call I've ever heard. Best not to take the bait.
Got a call Media Blast 631-656-5432 but the woman identified herself as Marlie From Empire Radio and left her number as 631-257-5599. She wanted to do an 8 minute interview with my boss. The first time she called I took a message then checked it out. She just called back and I told her I knew it was a scam to stop calling.
