They call me every 6 months or so, always with a different phone number, always with a different name to their company, threating a lawsuit and when you tell them to verify the debt, they get defensive. Don't fall for it. They tell me I owe someone $564, but can't tell me who, or from when but if I don't pay them the $564 they will sue me for over $4000. They do have my address, last 4 of my social, the name of my bank and the name of some personal references, that's kindof scary. But I still wouldn't give them a dime without some sort of debt validation, which they can't provide.
They are doing the same thing to me, calling up to 7X a day or every other day. They always claim that I owe their company around $305 and provide me with some claim# and say that if I don't pay they will sue me for over $4,000. The last time they called, one person identified the company as US Finance, and another identified the company as US Cash Advance. The phone# that comes up when they call is not even a complete phone# 810-675-560. The person on the phone said that they wouldn't give me any information about the outstanding debt unless I pay them. Then the person got really mean and defensive when I told him that I don't pay things over the phone when people call me claiming that I have a debt without giving me any proof of the debt. And the S.O.B. got mad and verbal and then hung up. So I had my Lawyer call them back the number they provided (631-350-5577) and they treated my Lawyer the same way. I have been advised by my Lawyer not to pay them anything, (Not Like I Would Anyway). I have also reported them to the Federal Trade Commission at: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
I am getting calls from this number...the person on the other lines English is very bad. His supervisor's English is even worse. I have asked them to send me documentation for this debt and he got very upset. I explained to him that I'm at work and very busy and please don't call my work number anymore which he replied, "I will call 1000 times if you don't pay this debt"....he's keeping his word...and he's also calling my mother.
I too have received the same phone calls. They have a very hard to understand accent. They also know all my personal information. i have never got a payday loan so how could i owe any money
