Answered the phone first words out of my mouth. 'Not interested'. Guy on other end goes off for the next 39 sec searing at me... Replied when he finally asked a question. 'You really think Your gonna get a promotion acting like that.' Ding.... People...
I just received a call from number and the guy stated that I was the recipient of a $9,500 government grant. I was awarded this grant because I file my taxes on time and all I had to do was give him my checking account number and the money would be deposited into my account. How generous of them....needless to say I hung up on him.
613-517-0000: If your cell phone supports "Call Reject" lists, add this number to it and list it as "SCAM" on your phone's rotary list. If your phone has no "Call Reject" list just add the telephone number to your phone's rotary list as "SCAM"--that way when the number pops up on your Caller ID, you will know it is a SCAM number that you have already researched. Remember: Never get angry, get even effectively and give your blood pressure a break. When a scammer realizes that there is no pay-off in telephoning you, they will stop bothering you.
