Scammer/robocall left a voice mail saying I'd recently applied for a PayDay loan & have been approved for the highest gold level. They say that highest amount is $1500.00 . Then they say to go to www.loanthatmoney.com and type in the VIP promo code, then is spits out a code.
I have never applied or ever talked to anyone at payday! I hate this crap.
Scammer/robocall left a voice mail saying I'd recently applied for a PayDay loan & have been approved for the highest level. I have NOT applied for any loan for years. They say that highest amount is $1500.00 That ain't a lot. Then they say to go to www.loanthatmoney.com and type in your approval code.
I looked up the info on that website and it was created on July 14th, 2015. So a whopping 8 days ago. Total scam. And they're in Panama. BEWARE!!!!!
(We really need an option in the drop-down menu to select Scammer, rather than Unknown.)
A little investigation shows that site's Domain was created on 7/14/2015
For the math challenged, that is 8 days ago! Is that a sign of a legitimate, trustworthy and reliable organization?
The sites's Domain expires on 7/14/2016 - a little less than a year from now.
That fact alone should reveal something to intelligent people.
This domain is protected by privacy service, so you don't see the real registrant name.
So, we can't identify who are the real scammers.
Unfortunately, I betcha there are people who will still believe stuff they see at that site ...
Yeah, I put that date in there. :) I work in Fraud Prevention; Who Is is my best friend.
The one thing we can see is the country is Panama. I reported it to the FTC, even though they'll probably just make another site. I hate these people, hence my job!
