Called and claimed they were going to publish me but acted liked it was a rushed process and I like to review companies that call me out the blue. Hung up and googled the number and found many had the same experience from this number. Thank goodness I'm cautious about who I give my information to. Lady name Tricia Hayes
*SCAM* Called saying they were with the International Association of Respiratory Therapists. Basically wanted to charge me for the "honor" of being featured in a yearly book of top Respiratory Therapists.
They keep on calling me till now. The first call that we had last April is that a girl named "Cathy" is telling me that i will be published in the nurses book etc. then she started promoting a product where i can get freebies and discounts but i have to pay such amount. then she's asking me about my credit card details, so for me it sounds fishy(of course i wont share any of my details bec it can be used for fraudulent,) what i did is i hanged up the phone after talking almost 30minutes with the lady, and saved this number. they still keep on calling me but i dont pick up!
Recieved a call from Donna Farrise who congradulated me on my accomplishments in the nursing field. When I asked how was I selected she stumbled a little but then said that a coworker must have put my name in. Continued on gathering information about me and the schools I attended and soforth. After gathering alm the information and gasding my head up with what an honor to have accomplished so many things you should want to be recognized. Then came the for only $791 for diamond or $391 for platinum and then $34.95 monthly. So how are you going to pay with Visa or Mastercard. I replied neither, I need to research this company a little further because I have never heard of you and I am not paying money to be honored an honor is just that you dont pay for it. Then she told me she would waive all fees except the $35.95 monthly so which card do I want to use. I said to her i dont mean any harm but I have a gut feeling and I want to research this company before I pay any money. She said, well we will keep your name and info and you can call us to see if you will be inducted next year. I said okay , thanks and hung up. Then googled the number and found that my gut feeling was the holy ghost telling me dont do it and i am glad i did not fall for the scam! Sorry to those who did and I pray you get your money back some how!
