Its a scam, and its all over this board using lots of different phone numbers.
The way the scam works the scammer tells you that you are about to be arrested for past-due taxes, the cops are on the way. You can avoid arrest by paying the past-due amount right this second by giving him your bank account or credit card number. The scammer spends all of your money.
The scammer is probably using a spoofed number. Block it. He or other similar scammers will call again with simialr scams. You can safely block and ignore them all.
I recieved a from this number saying I was in trouble an that the it's is filing a lawsuit against me because I hid something on my tax return but I called back and the phone just hung up an I called the other number it said the number is no longer in service
