I don't answer since I don't know the number and it went to voicemail. It was a computer voice telling me the IRS is looking for me, warrant, etc., etc. These people are using several different phone numbers. Since I know I don't owe the IRS any money and I also know if the IRS wants to contact you they do it by mail, snail mail and not by phone I can laugh. But they are so persistent, this has been going for over a week now, if I did not know all of the above I would be truly frightened. There must be some way to make this stop. Anybody have any ideas?
I just got the same call today I have voice to text saying this is Officer Heather Gray from Internal Revenue Service and the hotline to my division is 631-947-0293. Ira Pete. If disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care. I did try to call the # back and it just automatically disconnects. I am glad I found out this is a scam of some kind and it's seems to have been happening.
