This number keeps calling, on my caller ID it comes up as Private Caller, but no one leaves a message, they hang up before the answering machine kicks in, not even a dial tone.
I got a call from this phone number on my cell. I didnt answer it, becasue I dont answer calls from unknown long distance numbers. So I called the number back from my work phone which comes back as a 877 number, and there was no ring, nothing, just dead air
i answered from this number and got the same routing others have posted on similar numbers . . . a girl from 'overnight express' in st. louis, MO wanting to verify address for a package. she had my name and address and said the package was coming from a po box in chicago. it didn't seem right so i did some investigating and found all these others on this site.
i did a *57 to start a tracer and then called to report it to the at&t annoyance call bureau at 1-800-769-4099 and to our local authorities.
I received a call from this number and the same happened as above. That is a woman said I would be receiving a package in the mail and it is worth over 100 dollars because it is insured.
Last night(9pm)a woman called my neighbor who I havent't been in touch in years and asked if I was home because there is a package to be deliverd to me. Of course I don't live there so the call ended. There is a lot of people out there waiting for you to believe their stories and take advantage of... always research and google is agreat place to start.
