It's not Google. It's a company that wants your $$ to put your business's name up at the top of a Google search, otherwise known as an SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Yeah, sure, you'll do that. More like take my $$ and do nothing, and sell my number to the Scammer List.
Another time this was the Indian "Hello I am calling from the Windows Company there's a virus on your computer" scam, so the scammers are sharing numbers. They also call from 903-686-9303, caller ID "ASSIST".
I have a website, but I don't want it to be "optimized." I never answer any out of state area codes, but every once in a while I will get this type of call on a local area code. And, then I just put it in the callblocker.
These calls are very annoying; I have a right to my privacy and getting calls several times a day from these people is driving me crazy. The government should be doing something about this problem, we didn't have this abuse in past administrations why do we do now. I am registered with the do not call registry but these people must have someone working with them within the government.
