Told me he was "expanding" his company and wanted to know if I was interested in making some money. Would not inform me of how he received my number. AND knew my name. This was done through text message.

Same thing is happening to me. Whoever this is knows my name. I am not going to respond.

Do you go to a University?  That seems to be how he's getting people, got me as well.

Similar text message. Responded, immediately got a call from another number. How does he know my name?

i just got that too...just a few mins ago. i used to go to a university in MO. said his name was steven, all through text
