Rec'd a call from this number, they left a message saying they were calling for me (my name) and no other info. I later called the number back (unknown name) and they answered with "Auto Protection services, how may I help you?" It's an extended warranty scam. We bought a 2006 pre-owned vehicle six months ago, and it's in my name (all others are in my spouse's name). I have been bombarded with this kind of call ever since. That car was bought with a 3-yr extended warranty through a legitimate dealership, but the few calls I've answered claim they wouldn't have rec'd information that the car is not protected and actually argued with me about it! It's total BS. All they know is that the factory warranty is expired because of the age of the car.
