I've been receiving calls from some strange numbers this week. Prior to today, the prefix of the number started with a 0 (zero). The number was displayed as; (area code)-056-6874. Of course no such number exists. This morning I answered the call. The man on the other end answered with a Hispanic accent and provided a name of a company, HOME SOLUTIONS. We recently had a bad storm come through our area and he was trying to sign me up for storm damage inspection of my roof. He claimed the company was from my hometown and had been in business for twenty years and had a BBB rating of AAA. There is no such business in my town, I looked it up. When I brought up the fact that I am on the DNC list he talked right over me. When I asked, "What part of I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST didn't you understand"?….he hung up.
