A comment on how to handle these types of calls ... I also got calls and don't owe a cent to anyone!
Skype.com is where I have my primary number with a local area code ... I use this for everything ... I don't give my cell to anyone but the most trusted friends and relatives. If I get a caller who does not leave a message and I check them out at caller complaints and find they are not worth my time I make 1 click and they are blocked via skype.
For a phone number on my computer and unlimited calling I pay about $50.00 a year! Well worth it in these situations. Good Luck All!
these people call ALL hours of ANY day...Sat, Sun..you name it, they have even called as late as 9pm, and I have an infant who's asleep by then. I have called the back MULIPLE times becauses most of the time they won't even answer me when I say "Hello" and then sometimes on Saturdays & Sundays it is a recording. I have called on MULITPLE occasions to find out they are looking for someone who doesn't reside here & I keep asking them to stop calling me. They are looking for someone I do not even know & I have told them on SEVERAL occasions that they do not reside here! I am to the point to press Harassing Communications charges on them if it does not stop. There was even one day I called & spoke to someone & explained that who they are looking for doesn't reside here & the person said they would not call back...and not even 10 mins later they called right back! They actually ended up calling 3 more times that day AFTER saying to me that they would remove the number & not call. I am this close to pressing harassing communications charges without even thinking twice about it!
