An agent called me from this number and asked about my latest service with BB&T. I reported this number to BB&T and they've advised that it is in a scam! Just hang up!!!!!!!!
I trust BB&T though let me make it clear that I don't personally have an account there. I am only dealing with them on someone else's behalf. However if it came up I would have an account with them. They are a good bank. However it's the "research" people I don't trust. It would be so easy for BB&T to print a survey code and the 800 number for customers to call on their deposit slips, etc. something like Walmart and Kroger do. There have just been too many hacks and too many customer lists sold for my satisfaction.
