I received this phone call at my work phone and it just was an annoying beep, like a fax. I wrote it down in hopes of calling back to yell at the caller, but it looks like it's just an idiot, illegal ploy.
Clearly illegal ....get a prescription with out a doctor etc etc.
The phone number is New Haven ,Iowa but there might be a way to hide or put another number on the fax. Not only illegal as far as the FDA, FCC,FTC etc goes but illegal in that junk faxes are verboten (USC and also no company name, or valid call back number).
Problem is...it might take a bit to find out who and where so as to proceed. A BUNCH of complaints to the above US Govt agencies might produce good results....and save the FAX paper...
Answering machine on our fax took the call. No message was left. On the recording it sounded as though a fax was trying to be sent but it wasn't recognized as a fax.
I do not wish to receive any calls from the above number!!
Fax an ad illegally selling prescription drugs without any doctor's order. Their website is actually located in Hong Kong (IP 202.64.69.7). What a choice, either get killed from lead poisoning or taking bogus drugs from China!
