And it's worse than that because the phone companies charge YOU to block the number. I've had 5 robocalls this week (all different #s and 2 were on my cellphone!): debt reduction, refinancing your student loan (I graduated from college in 1982!), 2 that didn't leave a message including this one just now, and one trying to get me to say "yes" asking if I want a free home security system. I'm going to have to now permanently have annoying music on YouTube up on my laptop to play to spammers (my husband's personal favorite is "Never Set the Cat on Fire", but I have even MORE amusing/annoying ones; sadly I can't find an audio of "Heroine Barbarian" a _Xena the Warrior Princess_ filk set to Gilbert and Sullivan; I'd really like to waste their time with the updated "Alice's Restaurant" audio which is something like 25 minutes long).
Recording - "This is the return call you requested regarding a back brace...." Yeah, right. I never talked to anyone at any time about a back brace - nor did I request a return call.
