Called today, and when I answered, asked for someone by name, but not quite right. Obviously a phone room in the background. Said ,"Cool, I'll email him." I said, great! "Oh do you have his cell number?" I said, "We don't give those out, are you insane/" He politely said, "Thanks. Sorry to trouble you."
Points for being pleasant at least, and good try. Still no idea what or who though.

wow, had the audacity to ask for cell phone number for owner of company, like they were long lost friends. "just in case he doesn't respond to my email", HA! great laugh to start my day
They still working the same script a year later I see from previous post. He didn't give his name or company. when asked he said he will call later and hung up. Caller ID read Monteforte Call.
Caller from Monteforte Calle 646-218-9679 asked for our VP by name. When I said he wasn't available and asked to take a message, he hung up. I called back. The guy days, "Oh, that's my new guy" and hangs up!
