Yesterday, I received a call from 800-746-2936 which is OCWEN Loan Servicing's number. The call went to voice mail and I received a very sketchy voice mail from "Joseph Gibbons" stating I needed to call him immediately to avoid foreclosure and our modification being cancelled. Since I know we are current on our loan (and verified this through OCWEN's website and automated system) I found the message very suspect. I contacted OCWEN customer service via email advising of this call but naturally, with their stellar service, I have heard nothing back. I received a second call today from the same number and with the same sketchy message. The message is clearly recorded or staged and none of it makes sense.
I did a search for the guy's name along with OCWEN and found several posts here with similar experiences however, sadly some people believed this jerk and lost money (according to their story). I refuse to call this "Joseph" back and I most certainly will NOT be giving him any money. DO NOT GIVE money to someone you can not verify.

I got the same call. He asked me to send money with money gram to avoid foreclosure. Hahaha! I told him I'll go do it and I'll call him back. Keep waiting scammer
I received a call from the same guy but he told me his name was Joseph Goodson saying the same thing i owe money or my home will be foreclosed called my mortgage company they told me i was good on mortgage so F you Goodson.
Automated system sounding voice said i owed the gov't money & there was a warrant for my arrest.Then it hung up . I called back ,it rang 3 times twice ..I hung up .????This is the 4th time but different phone #..
