That sucks.... they called me just now, but they didn't ask for money yet. They have gave me a code and a phone number to call. I was waiting for them to ask for the money, but they never did. So as soon as they gave me a phone number, I searched it and seen all these post.
It sucks people do scams... especially in those who need it.

This is most definitely a bunch of Thieves in a telemarketing environment doing identity theft, they state your name, ask for your age want your bank account info to clean you out, wanting your DOB, SS# or to send an amount of money to cover the fees associated with the Fake Grant. Block their number and text from your cell phone and landline if you can. They have been calling me for the last two years both ethnic accented from another country, man who is hard to understand with the noise in the background and/or a women from India/Pakistan. Any Federal or Government Agency do not call you, they send a letter with all pertinent info which is usually from the IRS unless you wrote to them and get a reply.
I put a do not call on my Landline and cell (DNS) which you can do. This states no one can call you up to five years that you do not do business with and the exceptions are your banker, credit cards you have with them and so on. There is a fine of $10,000 per individual who calls you and you can tell them you are on the Do Not Call List and they can be fined $10,000 for calling you because you do not know them and I told them to stop calling. (i.e. they do not stop and now they call and hang up which is fine better then before where they would be on my voice mail calling out my name several times then hanging up. They are persistent ...They Want Your All Your Money. Please document their info to help others..Don't e fooled.. Thank you
Yes this is actually a type of Identify Theft....which they have your name, address, phone number gets you to confirm it and asks some more info form you to confirm . They collect more info to take more from you....Gets you to send money that You Never Applied For and has you send them money to get money.....Also do not do Sweepstakes outside pf Publisher Clearing House ..Always check online anyone who calls you without you doing anything to reach any money. Sorry you are out the money you sent.
