Thanks you, and no I did not give him anything, he would not let up on it forever, he just kept arguing and arguing that it was not a scam and he yeah he wanted me to put money up front to western union for "upfront fee for pick and delivery to have it shipped". He said he would wire the money back to me through paypal.
I am really glad I did not go through with it. I also called Paypal and they said they absolutely have no one by that name or email address with an account with them.
I received similar messages from selling my couches. He had the same crappy grammer in the messages. Thanks for your posts guys, I was able to tell the dude to [***] off...seriously.
I just received a text message from this Same number as you guys. Same guy but different details stating he is a sgt in the marine corps and that he lives at a base up north and wants me send my product I am selling on KSL to him in Alabama. He also stated he would pay by paypal. When I refused he got very hostal towards me and when I asked what unit he is in, he replied "you ask to many questions". He is a total scammer! Watch out for him.
