This number has called twice today; indicating they were from the fraud division of the govt. They wanted me to call a return number to avoid further action of a law suit pending. I did not get the return number; as I have been called by several of these creeps. I will not give them the satisfaction. Later tried the above number and got an all circuits busy; and also a ring no answer. This is fraud; just using the common criminal phone number to try to get someone to bite. FRAUD!!
That's funny - Wish I could try that but they call on my cell phone so it would use up my minutes if I just left it sitting around. I simply don't answer any out of state calls unless it's someone I know. Eventually they stop calling. Good luck
I googled this number because someone called and hung up. I'm supposed to be on the Do Not Call list too so I wanted to find out who it was. I think it bypasses Do Not Call because it's showing up on my caller ID as a private number, so this is how scammers are tricking the system. I just wanted to say thank you to all who report things like this so the rest of us are alerted. This is the only way we can stop them.
I just got the same call. Thick accent wanted me to do something to my Windows operating system. Said he wanted me to type in some things. Yelled at me for putting him on speaker. I told him what did he want. Said he wanted me to type some things in, on my computer. Never said why. I said you know you are rude and I do not know you so forget it. A$$HOLE. He is not scamming me.
