caller id read new yory, ny. robo call about a back brace i supposedly called them about. press 1 to be connected to an operator or press 2 to be removed from our list. i pressed 2 and a male with a thick accent came on the line. definitely a scam all around.
This is the back brace scam and the callers are from out of the country so the do not call list does NOT work and you're wasting your time complaining to the FTC about it. What they are trying to get from you is your Medicare number and once they have that, they start sending phony bills to Medicare and that's how they're making their money. Be careful and don't give them it.
