Received a voicemail on my cell from this number, called back from my work line and he claimed to be Office Parker with the IRS and wanted my social security number, hung up right after.
Got a threatening automated message that said if I didnt call back I would get arrested. When I called the number pack a male with a very thick middle eastern accent answered. He said he was from the "Department of the IRS". Pretty sure it's just called the IRS. Also pretty sure that if the IRS was at the point that they were going to arrest me for tax fraud, I would already be aware that I was in some kind of trouble. Also, I am an honest tax-payer so there is not a chance in hell that they have any such evidence against me. SCAM! These people are a soul-less!
Those people are also HELPLESS if they're unable to deliver threats to receivers. No kind of answer from the numbers they call, they're SOL. Threats of arrest from the 'IRS' aren't much scarier than citizen's arrest. If you can kill the call before an answering device takes it, nothing but a ringing phone is heard, eventually angering callers.
