I got a call from # 202-754-1234 saying I had won a grant for $7,000. I gave him an outdated gift card information that he could load the money on to. He then proceeded to give me a confirmation # of CH734 and instructed me to call his Authorization Officer at: 646-504-3790. I proceeded and the person on the other line told me I needed to go to Wal-mart and get a $250.00 gift card and load it on the card I gave the number for and then they would route the $7,000.00 into the card account I gave them. Total f-ing SCAM! Why hasn't the government caught these people and put them in jail?? This has been going on for the longest. Cyber up!, computer forensics...can't you catch them and terminate this SCAM practice?
Come on, get with the program and incarcerate these criminals. Just sayin'...
