Mel: What you will see is the result of calling back numbers out of curiosity and what is even worse, punching any suggested number on you telephone keypad "to be taken off their list". By doing that, you have told them that your telephone is active and ready to receive more of those calls. Good luck!
I agree with Marian. I do exactly the same thing.
If I am close to the telephone when it rings and I see on the caller ID a name and number that I do not recognize, I just press the button on the keypad as to answer the call and IMMEDIATELY, I pressed the hangup key.
That is what I did with this call, so missed the fun with the brace. Anyway, who in the right mind would answer a call whose name show as "Unassigned"?
