Call from Unavailable phone number - Say they are awarding a $9,000.00 grant from the US Government, tax free and not expected to pay it back - provide you with a $$ confirmation number and tell you you have to call this phone number (6466-535-2874) TODAY to claim your money. They have been calling every day for the last week and I finally answered the last three days telling them NOT to call me any more, but today I rode out the call to see how far they would go (and hope they will stop calling me).
Call from Unavailable phone number - Say they are awarding a $9,000.00 grant from the US Government, tax free and not expected to pay it back - provide you with a $$ confirmation number and tell you you have to call this phone number (646-535-2874) TODAY to claim your money. They called twice May 16 and May 17th, 2017 and when I finally answered they said that for me to get the $9,000.00 I had to buy $200 in ITunes gift cards and would be reimbursed with the $9,000.00 because they needed to confirm that I was the person that they called to give the $$$$, since an info from the receipt was needed to give them and then they would give me a transaction ID to claim the money at any Walmart location. They wouldn't disconnect the call until they knew I had the money with me (kind of suspicious??).
I keep getting phone calls from unknown numbers. I finally answered and they claimed to be from the verification deptartment from Washington DC and I was randomly selected for 9,000$ in tax free grant money. They gave me a number to call and an ID number.
