Called today and asked for my ex-fiance(of over a year now) who never used my number for anything and we never had joint accounts so not sure how they got my number but i tried to ask who they were and what it was about and they just kept asking to speak with my ex. nope not her phone sorry not sorry
They posed as a guy wanting to start a long term relationship. Then he was broke in South Africa and needed money. I started talking about FBI traces and then I was called a gay slur. So I sent porn to them. Figured that would offend them like they offended me.
Three individuals from this number spoke with me within a matter of 15 minutes. They REFUSED to identify themselves. They stated the call was an attempt to collect a debt but would not say what the debt was. Instead, they wanted me to confirm personal information over the phone. When I refused, they said they would just call me back. I reported them and the phone number to the State Atty General Office.
Received a call from this number today from a Man with a middle eastern accent. States my full name. Didn't acknowledge that it was my full name. i asked what the call was in regards to? The man asked if he was speaking with full name and could only disclose the confidential info to full name... I ignored him again and then proceeded to exercise my consumer rights, "IN NO WAY DO I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO RECORD THIS PHONE CALL AND WISH TO NO LONGER BE CONTACTED BY PHONE AND ONLY WISH BE CONTACTED VIA MAIL IN REGARDS TO WHATEVER THIS PHONE CALL IS IN REFERENCE TO" , "I appreciate your kind cooperation".The man COMPLY and then ask again is this Full Name... I hang up.... IDK HOW THESE PPL GET MY INFO N I WONDER IF I CAN SUE THEM OR WHO EVER SOLD MY INFORMATION.
